Inside Soap says that Erica returns to see Nick and she's got some shocking news for him. The mag says: "Erica's back on the prowl next week - and delivers some news so shocking to Nick that he is going to have kittens when he hears it."
And to further add excitement, this week's TV Times magazine also confirms "Nick turns to Carla after shock news."

I just can't see Nick and Carla a buddies, let alone lovers. There is absolutely nil in their on-film character interactions.
Couldn't imagine it, but I have a feeling she's going to say she's pregnant.... wonder if her breast milk would come out powdered?

It could be a pregnancy but I doubt it. Erica would deal with that on her own. Anyway, I read something about Callum and Sarah having that 'explosive story' so I agree with Anonymous above. An STD, which Corrie hasn't written about before.
No, it couldn't be a pregnancy! Sorry but she has menopause written all over her. An STD? Herpes maybe?

For for goodness sakes what is this awful, over made up and frankly rather embarrassing character doing back AGAIN? Too odd to be pregnant, she probably has some kind of STD as Corrie and Emmerdale mirror each others stories pretty much these days. Surely Nick would have used protectio? Especially as he hardly knew her when he bedded her, even Nick couldnt be that flaming stupid!!!!
Baby or HIV whichever it is it's still so predictable. Either way it'll all work out ok for Nick, so there'll be no moral to the story and it'll all be such a waste of time, especially since it'll give screentime to two VERY annoying and unlikable characters.
I can sort of see Carla and Nick being friendly, not super close, but they do live in the same building of flats. They're getting older and just having someone to talk to once in a while sounds realistic.
As for whatshername - gosh, I hope it's not HIV. Nick's just getting over his brain damage, we think. I'd rather see Erica be a good friend for Liz, who looks like she's gonna need it soon.

She's too old to be pregnant but my guess is she'll be opening a new bistro in rosamund street.

Considering all the storylines that involved characters sleeping with each other,I'm surprised that there hasn't been a STD or an HIV storyline earlier so I do hope that is Erica's shocking news to Nick.This may sound cold but remembering how he hid behind mummy when it came out he slept with Kylie,perhaps this is Nick's comeuppance?
