It will likely be no surprise to anyone that Sally Webster looks to be the prime suspect for the murder of Frank Foster in this year's "I Didn't Do It" stakes.
The Daily Star says Sally will be found standing over the lifeless body of her boss and lover in the factory. Furthermore, they're saying that Frank has been threatening Sally with the same as he gave Carla after he admits to her that he did, in fact, rape Carla.
We've been pretty sure all along that Sally would experience the dark side of Frank eventually and be instrumental in bringing him to justice. But does she kill him? Does she 'eck! Unless it was clear self defence, the person who's arrested or targeted by the police is never the one that's done the deed. That's the Law of Soaps and that's my "humble" opinion.
But who did kill Frank? We're speculating it could be Frank's mother, Anne, who does seem to be the impulsive sort. You can't imagine a mother killing her own son but if it's her, then maybe it was an accident. Anne doesn't seem to be overly keen on Sally so she may set her up to take the fall.
We're running a poll here to see if you can guess who will be the murderer.

Glad to hear Sally will be going through her own 'no one believes me' story as Carla did - about time she had that smirk firmly wiped off her high-horse face!
Why doesn't anyone on Coronation Street notice the sky-high mortality rate? SOmeone dies ever couple of months but no one bats an eyelash about it!
Sally better practice her fetal position... you know, the one Gail, Deirdre, Becky and Fiz all assumed when they were unfairly "banged up". The music swells, our heroine sobs on her cot (curled into the obligatory fetal position) as the prison door slowly bangs shut.
Another Corrie female in prison? Stop, just STOP already.
How about a mental institute or a prison camp? Anything, anything to break the monotony.
As both Anonymous commentators put it: enough!
Must we see another regular in jail (specifically, a female). Is it the intention to have EVERY regular cast member in jail at some point? When will it be Rita's turn?
Very, very tedious, and very, very samey.
So we are to see Sally in a yellow tabbard very soon. Hm, we are all becoming acclimatised to prison visits now and they no longer have much impact.
It would make sense if Anne catches Frank trying to rape someone else and realises it was Frank who caused the stress that caused his fathers death
We don't know *Yet* that Sally will be arrested of course, but it seems like it's heading in that way. You wonder why the writers can't think of anything new rather than using the same story year after year! and Why always a woman????
