Hmm. I've just been watching the Canadian timeline of Corrie. We're up to where Frank makes a play for Maria the day she starts work at the factory. He's just told her, while they are making dinner in his kitchen, that his mother never approved of anything he ever did but is dead now. He didn't seem to be lying, no shifty looks. I wonder if Anna Foster is a rewrite of history, yet again?
I wouldn't put it past them. The powers that be have previous.

Yes, I caught that little discrepancy too, Tvor. Well, not so little as Frank's mum later resurfaces as one nasty piece of work later on! Veddy curious. Been racking my brains to try to recall if the "lie" was caught out when Carla met Anna before the wedding plans. Didn't Maria meet her then?
I noticed that too, and thought that it usually takes them longer than that to rewrite history. I thought the story lines were decided upon further ahead than that too.
Yep another bit of history was remade yesterday when Fiz was banging on mawkishly about meeting John when he was a DJ. Yet before I recall she said she met when he was her teacher.
Frosty, no i do remember that. I don't think John was her teacher though he was *a* teacher at the time, doing DJ work at night. She had to have been either a school girl at the time or met him in the very short period between leaving school and coming to the STreet to work in the factory, though because Roy and Hayley fostered Fiz when she was a gobby almost 16 year old and within a couple of months after leaving school at 16, she was at the factory. However she said she had lots of qualifications but didn't want to go to college (probably couldn't afford to, Cilla making her go work) and she's been dumbed down since then, now saying she's not got the qualifications to do anything but factory work. Well, she never did have A levels i suppose.
I'm pretty sure Fiz said last night that she was 13 when she met John and he was 19, so he can't have been a teacher at the time.
Then that's a rewrite too, i think. But not out of character for John who likes them young!
I relised this when frank mentioned her to Carla too but thought I must have been mistaken
Isn't it ANNE, not ANNA?!
*confused*
