Simon Gregson and Craig Charles, who play Coronation Street cabbies Steve McDonald and Lloyd Mullaney, have caused chaos on the cobbles by both going off on sick leave.
A Coronation Street spokeswoman is quoting in the Mirror saying that Craig Charles’s wife told producers he had felt unwell all weekend and spent Sunday in bed. She added: “We’ve had to do a bit of juggling.”
Speaking at home yesterday, Gregson clutched a box of tissues and laughed he’d been struck by “man-flu”. He showed a prescription for antibiotics.
