Of course..leading to Leanne booting him out - again - straight into Carla's arms who will be drinking up a storm right along with him. OBOY!!! Leanne is going to get her's right soon...yay.
Hmm, just where we don;t want him going - but kudos for Corrie in keeping Peter's addiction real - not like Leanne's brief flirtation with drug addiction years ago, which was over in about six weeks. Alcoholism is, regretably, for life. I just wish it wasn't going to be used for such stale plot recyling as the Carla-Leanne-Peter triangle. Getting mighty sick of the once-great character of Peter Barlow (ok, I'll admit it, the character I actually cried for when I thought he was dead after the Live Ep) behaving like a colossal tool. I wish I could get the bloody script department in the back-room of a pub for just one flamin' hour!!!
Repeat Storyline, Awesome! just what we all wanted
Agree with Cobblestone, Peter is acting like a total dickhead and seems to have a self destruct button. He has always been one of Frost's favourites but where we loved him for his flaws he is now becoming irksome and dislikeable. And for goodness sake Wardrobe get him a new jacket, that flaming black leather one has seen better days!
I'm sure he dyes his hair, but yes, gorgeous.
Oh dear. I really like Peter as a character but can't say I'm looking forward to this! I wish they would let Leanne and him just get on with things. It's all very repetitive at the moment. Too much Peter + Carla!
Peter falls of the wagon and straight into Carla's arms where they proceed to destroy each other. Then there's the tiny inconvenience of Simon whom Peter was given a lot of money to care for. Leanne will seek a residency order or adopt Simon (whatever the legal proceudre is) and try to keep the bookies running. She'll have to seek some of Peter's cash as maintenance, I suppose. I think this could be an interesting story and I love Peter. He's weak and immature so when Carla finally boots him out, he'll be running back to Leanne. She'd never take him back, would she?

Coronation Street Script Writer 2: "erm..... i know!!! Peter drinks again. Its only happened 4 times in the past couple of years. It'll feel fresh to everyone".
Coronation Street Script Writer 1: "Great idea! Infact, lets make it so that both Carla and Leanne fall pregnant at the SAME time. NOBODY will see THAT coming!"
Coronation Street Script Writer 2: "Pay rises for us two this year after this little belter!"
