There's an excellent little Coronation Street spoiler in today's Daily Star that says Ciaran McCarthy (Keith Duffy) is going to steal Betty's hotpot recipe.
Ciaran is going to get a job at Nick's new bar Turners Joinery and he steals Betty's recipe to serve up hotpot in the new place. Hmm... would Betty really have the hotpot recipe wrote down? Anyway, Betty threatens to string me-laddo up when she finds out.

Oh no, I though Cieran was moving to Glasgee!
Ooh - big mistake Ciaran - I wouldn't mess with the Betster.
Yes, big mistake Ciaran. Don't mess with our Betty, you will come off second best.
Would a "trendy new bar" filled with hip youngsters serve something as mundane and traditional as Betty's hotpot...?
I sniff a fake story!
Maybe Ciaran's adding something trendy and new-fangled though, like curry powder?
He could call it Ciaran's Casserole.
Rover's Ragout
I do agree with anonymous, I don't think Nick would want Betty's Hotpot at his trendy bar unless he's just doing it to try to steal business from the Rovers any way he can, which i *can* see Nick trying to do
But can you see Leanne doing it, and SHE's going to be running the place. Aw, that smile on her face at the end of last night's episode - and to think it's all going to be dust in a couple of months time.
