Rosie Webster, played by Helen Flanagan on Coronation Street, is tied to a bed in her underwear. I really can't be bothered with this. Here's the story, anyway.

I don't have a lot of time for Rosie Webster, however I do prefer her when she's just being Dozy Plebster rather than a spiteful bitch.
It's a pathetic attempt to boost ratings. They should get rid of the character too.
I agree with Adam, her tied to the bed with her legs open just brings a tackiness to Corrie.
I agree with Adam too. Am not going to bother with Corrie for a bit, can't stand Dozy Plebster, not interested in the FishStapeWick storyline, Maria getting her claws into another bloke, or Me Me Me Michelle's foray into the factory!
Rather tacky :/
Tacky but not quite as tacky as a tram crash "bloodbath" and "carnage" to "celebrate" the 50th anniversary.
I know it's been said before but even if you don't like the sound of some upcoming story lines, in my experience Corrie is always worth watching, even if it's only for the bits between the story lines. Surely proper Corrie fans know that. If you really can't stand certain characters, press mute, read the paper when their scenes are on, but don't deprive yourself of what might be brilliance. It might just be a little scene in the Kabin, Norris getting on Rita's nerves or whatever, or Lloyd winding up Eileen in the cab office til he gets a slap, that has no bearing on anything else. Very often where the gold lies on Corrie.
Who is Maria going to get her claws into?
Well said ^ I loved the recent storyline with Rita and Norris, it wasn't much, but it was good
If you don't fancy seeing Rosie Webster in her underwear tied to a bed, there's no need to throw a hissy fit and stop watching Corrie, just don't buy the DVD.
Quite simple really, no need for hystrionics.
I'm 19, but would much rather see the likes of Ken, Deirdre, Gail, Audrey, Rita, Norris, Emily, Carla, Peter, Leanne, Steve, Roy and Hayley than yet another 'hot' fling for Rosie Webster or yet more David Pratt on on our screens. And don't even get me started on that AWFUL Kylie!!!!!
At least this is in the DVD and not one of the episodes. The DVD sounded bad before, but now this puts me right off.
Gadgee, thanks. I take it that's a dig at me! I've been watching Corrie for yonks, and yes, I do mute the sound, or whizz through the bits I can't be bothered with. Sometimes I'm not left with much of a programme, but I do persevere. But please forgive me for having an opinion, and not being a "proper fan" as you put it... Sheesh.
Maria is being pursued by Chris by the way.
Give over. This is for a lads and its worked :P
I agree with Deborah, it's kinda put me off the DVD, it just seems a cheap way of selling the DVD, they should have had a look at Romanian Holiday on how to do a Corrie DVD
Nurse Florence, it wasn't a dig at anybody, and I wasn't accusing you or anybody else of not being a proper Corrie fan - I'm sure you are one. I was merely saying that deciding to stop watching Corrie for a while seems a bit rash, for the reasons I gave. Of course you're entitled to your opinions, but if you publish them in a forum like this one then obviously sometimes people might respectfully disagree with you. I was just expressing my own equally valid thoughts. I hope you do continue to watch and enjoy Corrie, even if you do fast-forward through the bits you don't want to see, and post your opinions etc. here. I'm genuinely sorry if my comments upset you or pissed you off. I think there's generally a really nice atmosphere here and I'd hate to think I'd done anything to spoil it. Apology accepted?
Grr. You see what happens when Dozy Plebster gets her kit off? Always leads to trouble! :)
"Maria is being pursued by Chris by the way."
Ta.
Yes, the photo is related to the dvd and it only cements my resolve not to have anything to do with it. IT's as if they know it's shite but need a reason to try to lure people to buy it.
Gadgee, I apologise myself, it was a total overeaction on my part on what was a particularly stressful Thursday! There's absolutely no need for you to say sorry, you're right, this is a public forum and people will disagree (although surely everyone dislikes Michelle, lol). Definitely Dozy Plebster's fault! Even though I fancy a short break from Corrie, I could never stop watching it altogether. Friends again I hope? NFG x
