Today's Sunday People report that Jack P Shepherd, who plays Coronation Street's David Platt, is being stalked by a priest who says he's Jack's dad. The paper says that Jack has called in the cops after receiving a series of disturbing letters and photographs from the man claiming to be his real father. All the letters have been handed to Manchester detectives.
Jack, 22, told The People: It's scary. This man says hes a priest and is adamant he was my real dad. He keeps saying how proud he is of me and how he wants to get back in contact. In the end I asked Corrie to call in the police."
A Coronation Street spokesman added: "We take it very seriously. We have police officers who liaise with us. Well get to the bottom of it."
