The Manchester Evening News reports that the husband of Vicky Entwistle, who plays Janice Battersby on Coronation Street, has been charged with assaulting a fan who asked to take Vicky's photograph.Vicky's husband, Andrew Chapman, is accused of hitting the man on a train in Salford after two men approached her and asked if they could take her photograph. One of the men allegedly suffered a cut lip and bruising to his nose.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said: "Following an incident at Salford Crescent Station Andrew Chapman has been charged with assault."

Wow, is that really Janice. She is really hot, and here I was, stupid me, thinking that she looked like a bulldog. I will never see her that way again.

Shame about the issue with her husband, but there are always 2 sides. Nobody knows what was going on at that moment, and these "fans" may have been too intrusive. Everyone, including celebrities, is entitled to some privacy, especially with their families.
Re: her look, wouldn't it be great if she could have a head turning glam makeover for Leanne's wedding? Maybe she could get an appointment with the famous Audrey of Audrey's.
I think there must be more to this story too. I've seen Vicky in person a few times now, always finding time to sign an autograph and pose for a photo with fans. On a number of occassions her husband has been driving her out of the studios and usually stops to allow Vicky to have a photo with fans waiting. It would be interesting to hear the fully story.
I have heard from a lot of my Corrie friends that Vicky is one of the nicest Corrie members in regards to stopping, chatting, taking photos etc. I reckon they must have done something to provoke such a reaction from her husband.
The picture takes the place of a thousand words. She is beautiful. Can it really be Janice Battersby???
