One of the (very many) joys of writing this blog is that we receive emails from all kinds of people with Corrie connections.
Carl Gresham has emailed in to let us know about his book called "A Lifetime in Showbiz" in which he talks about running the most successful theatrical agency in Britain. He worked and was friends with many UK stars of stage and screen, including some of the Coronation Street cast from back in the day when Pat Phoenix (Elsie Tanner) and Violet Carson (Ena Sharples) were huge stars.
Carl's book is currently under discussion to be turned into a TV mini-series. You can find out more about Carl Gresham, his book and his life's work with some of the classic Corrie stars at his website here.
