Another wasted character. I cannot understand why they bring back characters like Sunita and let characters like Thesesa go.
Aww quite disappointed to hear this, they've not really done anything with her. Was hoping she'd end up becoming a machinist to make up numbers in the factory again.
It really beggers belief doesn't it? Karen Henthorne is superb as Teresa. Every scene she is in lifts the show. I thought introducing her as the cleaner at Underworld was finally an attempt to settle her down as a main character. But no. I knew her relationship with Lloyd wasn't going anywhere, but it really needn't be the end of her character.
Gutted.
Devastated to hear this - Teresa is a really great, entertaining character. I agree Swamp Duck - makes no sense to me, to bring Sunita back, and ditch Teresa.
Such a shame, but I can't blame her for going. She has been brilliant whenever she's been in it... she just hasn't been in it enough!
What a waste. They bring in a mimor character who, due purely to the skill of the actress, shows the potential to be far more, underuse her and then she leaves. Much the same as happened to Kelly Crabtree. Yet characters like Claire, who could bore for England, go on and on and on.
Noooo, I liked Theresa. Just because she leaves Lloyd, why does she have to leave the street? i thought when they made her a cleaner at Underworld they were reinforcing her. Now she's leaving?
Aw that's too bad. I suppose without Lloyd, they figure she has no other ties. It's kind of why Kelly dwindled and died out too. Karen Henthorne is indeed superb as Teresa.
What?! I love Teresa. Aww man that sucks. She's just found her calling as part of the Underworld gang n all!
I'm very disappointed too - I think the character is a classic "one you love to hate" and Karen is such a good actress.
I thought she was a stupid and annoying character at first with all that Jerry morton (a new family brought in for no reason) but then when she moved in with Lloyd she grew on me :)
