Fiz has had an awful few months, how is she feeling about Tyrone and Alina at this point?
I think she has started to feel like she could move on. Once she had found out Alina was pregnant she realised that he had made his bed and he had to lie in it. It didn’t matter whether it was planned or not this is now his future and it is definitely not with Fiz and her girls and she needs to get on with that.
How has Fiz been feeling since she started seeing Phill? Has he helped her move on?
Yes it really has helped take the next steps to her new life. It came really out of the blue for her at the perfect time after Tyrone had a go at her for doing the article. It really flattered her that he wanted to take her out, she couldn’t understand why he is interested in her. In her mind she is the person whose partner left her for a younger sexy woman. She thinks she is the person that people leave, not the woman someone wants to take out! So it has given her confidence, she can’t quite believe this has happened to her after everything she has gone through.
What is about Phill that she likes?
The fact that he likes her is a big part of it. He seems like a really lovely bloke. He has no ties, he has no kids, but he has an ex so he understands what that is like. He seems very happy to listen to her talking about her ex!! He is also great with the girls and they really like him which is a big thing for her as they are her priority. Hope in particular thinks it’s great that mummy has a new boyfriend. She has met someone who spoils her and treats her right. Even before the fling with Alina things had got a bit like a pair of comfy old slippers between her and Tyrone. This new relationship for her is totally different, she never really had this with Tyrone they got together through everything with Kirsty so they never really dated and had that romance. They fell in love in a different way. I don’t think this has ever happened to Fiz.
Has she been aware of Hope’s behaviour starting to show worrying traits?
I think to be honest she has taken her eye off the ball a bit where Hope is concerned. Even Evelyn has been telling her to go out and enjoy herself and offering to look after the girls and she has really been putting herself first for once and as a consequence she hasn’t really noticed how Hope has been feeling. Hope seems ok, she is happy with Phill, she doesn't like Alina but no one in that house likes Alina so it doesn’t worry her too much. Fiz is probably amused by Hope’s dislike of Alina and not reading anything sinister into it. It is in some ways Hope and Fiz against Tyrone sometimes which is not ideal.
Does she have any worries at first that Hope might have had something to do with it given her last history with fire?
I think it flashes through her brain because she does have history with fires, but it is literally for a moment and she pushes the thought to one side. She immediately dismisses it because she believes Hope was in her bed.
How does she feel when Evelyn suggests that Hope may know more about the fire than she is letting on?
She insists to Evelyn that she can’t be involved as she was in her bed. She is almost saying to Evelyn do you not think I have thought this already? The only reason she thinks Hope hasn't done it is because she was at home - she isn’t saying ‘my daughter would not do that’!
What happens when Tyrone comes round to talk about it?
It is similar to when Kirsty died, Fiz and Tyrone confide in each other. She tells him of her suspicions quite quickly and they both know she is capable of it.
Hope is clearly a very troubled girl. Fiz must be terrified about her daughter’s future if indeed she was responsible for starting the fire?
Fiz knows that this is not the first time Hope has done something like this so she knows that if she has done it they would probably throw the book at her. She is also worried about Hope’s lack of emotion when asked about what is going on and she is concerned about how that would look to the police. She does wonder if Hope has inherited some traits from her dad. Kirsty was not a good person but as Tyrone points out Ruby does not have the same behavioural problems as Hope and they have been brought up in the same environment, so what is it making Hope behave in this way?
Meanwhile Alina is starting to think that Fiz is responsible for the fire. Do you think that Fiz would make the ultimate sacrifice for her daughter?
I do think she is capable of that, she may feel she has failed her daughter in some way and if she can stop her life from being ruined completely she might think this is the way to do it and take the rap.

That poor child, Hope, needs serious help. She needs ongoing counseling, etc., which I suppose is harder with the current climate. It's one thing to be jealous and have behaviour issues when the parents split up, quite another when taken to the extreme (the factory fire, breaking Joseph's arm etc.). Fiz has a blind spot when it comes to her daughter needing more help - very sad.
Unfortuately,Fiz has a lot to answer for regarding Hope's behaviour, first letting Ruby take the blame then blaming Tyrone after Hope broke Josepn's arm and constantly pouring poison in the little girl's ear about Alina fully awarw how mentally unstable her daughter can be.
Fiz never took any responsbility and continued to turn a blind eye to Hope's actions and now Alina may lose Tyrone's unborn son because of Hope.
Thats why she gets away with everything her mother is over protective she can't help her daughter cause she needs help herself Fizz did wind up her daughter prehaps without realising it but she did do that because Hope like Alina in the beginning and when Fizz had her fit about the makeup everything changed The girl is acting out to defend her mother somehow Fizz doesn't realise the massive harm she is doing her daughter
Hope is a psychopath and she was born that way.
