I'm not impressed with Leanne's parenting methods. She rewards Simon's bad behaviour with various bribes. She hides her lack of solutions rather than admit she's out of her depth. Simon needs professional help and the situation is only getting worse. If Peter is going to continue to abdicate his responsibilities then Leanne must look elsewhere for support, and well-meaning amateurs won't do.
If I were Leanne, I would ship Simon off to live with his father. Has she legally adopted him at all? Because I don't remember it if she has.
Who was the nurse attending to Simon? What has she been in?
