Here are our sneak preview pictures of Liz and Lloyd snogging on the sofa!
The episode will be shown on Thursday 27 August and I can't wait to see these two back together again. Sadly, we know that Lloyd is leaving Corrie so there's no long-term relationship on the cards.

In
an attempt to cheer Lloyd up, Liz invites him to spend the evening with
her, suggesting that they can watch TV and share a takeaway. Lloyd
reluctantly agrees. As Liz and Lloyd compare their failed relationships,
Liz gives Lloyd a comforting hug…
The last time Liz and Lloyd got together was back in 2008 and this is how they looked then.

Steve wasn't happy about his mum getting together with his best mate last time around.
Heaven only knows what he'll have to say about it this time!

I genuinely do not understand why Corrie keeps rehashing the same relationships. Sally snogs Kevin. Liz snogs Lloyd. Is this all we can muster for creativity?
I disagree Anonymous 01:49. Harking back to old relationships helps make the characters seem more real, after all in real life we don't forget the past as easily as soap characters often do. It's also a nice reward for viewers who have been watching a long time.
I liked Liz and Lloyd together, too.
Well, obviously, they're going to be *so ashamed in the morning* leading up to Lloyd's exit. Again!
I agree with Anonymous'[1;49] comments about rehashed relationships as it does seem the characters are going around in circles instead of moving on.
I also wonder is this the 'revenge' that Liz has in mind against Tony?
I thought she was going to try to get Steve' share of the Rovers back from Tony not humiliate him by kissing his best friend.
Perhaps Liz gets pregnant and that's why Andrea leaves.
I agree with both 'anonymous.' Also, we know Tony isn't going anywhere soon. Rover is the one I they should maintain. He should be hired as a script supervisor if they don't want him acting.
I think it's believable that Liz and Lloyd would give it another shot. Their previous relationship only fell apart because Liz panicked. They cared for each other and still do, so it makes sense that they'd turn to each other again. My guess is that Liz will end up pushing him back to Andrea for the same reason she dumped him before - so he can be with someone younger with a shot at having a family.
