Corrie weekly awards: May 23 - 27
Back from my holidays and finally all caught up with Corrie, just in time for the ramp up to the eventful week to come!
Darts and Laurels award: Gold Star: I think Becky's been practicing using Tracy's photo on the dartboard.
Shine is off the apple award: Dull Star: Sally does not seem to be loved up with Jeff after a romantic holiday. I don't think the Mona Lisa is to Sally's taste.
Fashion Don't award: It may be trendy but that t-shirt of Tommy's is annoying me.
Reality check award: Gold Star: Kevin is finally having a few regrets for real. Look where it's got him.
Silver Star: Amy making herself sick still doesn't seem to have brought about a truce between Steve and Tracy. Tracy's solution is to take Amy away from her father altogether!
Worry wart award: Gold Star: Gary is fussing over Izzy. Bless!
Pushing the envelope award: Gold Star: David is going to push until the ugly truth comes out.
Midnight Flit award: Gold Star: John thinks disappearing will solve all his problems. Because...
Your worst nightmare come true award: They're digging up the factory floor so John got straight in there on the job.
Lines of the week:
John "I've been thinking...." (The start of a new plan to disappear and more lies, very, very big and wild ones)
Claudia "Don't hate me cause you ain't me, Aud"
Tracy "Why do I always have to be the bad cop?" (How can I count the ways)
Eileen "Who goes to Paris for a dirty weekend and spends the whole time in the Louvre? It wouldn't be the Mona Lisa, it would be the Moaning Eileen!"
Tracy to Sylvia "Before you turned out to be real, the rumour was Roy'd been raised by wolves"
Xin "Pretend is a dangerous game"

Tommy does indeed have a bizarre t-shirt wardrobe....what on earth was that one with the very wide low neckline.? Did he stumble upon some of vera's clothes ?
How about
Most overpriced tinny contraption award: Kev and his twenty grand hoist made for heavyu duty lifting cars and vans yet a few bangs with a spanner renders it useless and dangerous.
I'm with anonymous, Tommy does indeed have a strange T-shirt collection. That one you describe with the low neckline....until I put me specs on I thought he was wearing a bra!!!!!!
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Frosty. Last weeks news and has been said before.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz yourself, why dont you go away and think of something interesting to say about CORONATION STREET you dumbarse
Take your own advice, Frosty
Is it me or does everyone have it on for poor frosty? I for one like your comments mate. Not everyone reads ebery single post so you write whatever the blikin heck you like. Since viewing this site it has been a revelation as to how catty corroe fans can be!
PS- I actually quite liked tommys t-shirts.- Micky
Hey, you go Frosty. We're ALL entitled to express our varying opinions on Corrie - we don't always have to agree. I find Anon's personal attacks quite puzzling.

Funny how Frosty is happy to put the boot into Coronation Street and its cast, but does not like any criticism of his opinions.
Frosty, you could have replied: I normally suggest additional awards and this is the first opportunity to mention the fragile garage hoist.
Instead you chose the wittier, more adult and family friendly: dumbarse. I think you reap what you sow.
I also thought the hoist accident was too ridiculous. Don't those things come with safety devices or dead-man stops just in case there is a hydraulic leak? Anyway, it's a good lead up story to get Sally and Kevin back together.
Frosty...yo da man (or woman)..tell them to pound sand..
Play nice, folks, or we'll close this off to further comments.
Unfortunately Frosty has a stalker, who has a crush on him and cannot leave him alone. Obviously a sad friendless spinster. It happens. Frosty cannot be ignored wherever he goes.
