Vicky Binns runs for Leukaemia Research

Leukaemia Research is a charity close to this blog's heart so it's very happy to report that Vicky Binns, who plays Molly Dobbs on Coronation Street, is running a half-marathan in support of the charity today - Sunday 15th March. Vicky is taking part in the Silverstone Half Marathon running with team Banana Army, the running team of Leukaemia Research.

Kate White, director of fundraising for Leukaemia Research, said: "The Silverstone Half Marathon is a fantastic event and this is the first time our celebrities will take part. Leukaemia Research is extremely fortunate that so many stars run with our Banana Army to help raise awareness and money for vital research in leukaemia, lymphomas and myeloma."
