I doubt it'll happen but it'd be good if it did. Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher told BBC Radio 1 that he's a huge fan of Coronation Street and would love to appear on the show. Mind you, he can't be that big a fan as he got a bit confused between Martin and David Platt. It's probably all that loud rock music, does funny things to your head.Anyway, the NME ran the story on their website then called up ITV who said they can neither confirm nor deny that the Manchester musician Noel Gallagher will be appearing on the cobbles. So there you have it. It's a complete non-story but it's one I liked.
