The new Google Street View shows the Manchester based offices of ITV, where Coronation Street is filmed. I don't know if the Google cameras went up and down the cobbles but at least you can have a look around the area of Granada Television. It's here.
If the picture doesn't show, just click your mouse to take a walk down Quay Street in Manchester and you'll see Granada TV.

Too late Glenda. It opened for 2 seconds before they blacked out the screen leaving the message:"This image is no longer available".
Saw on the news how Google are removing images that some find offensive or embarrassing. As it's private commercial premises I expect Granada complained to keep their franchise under total control. So no freebies there from now on.

No, the Street View is still there, but you can't zoom in close any longer.
