Corrie's Eccles the dog gives birth to seven pups

A four-year-old Border Terrier called Tess is the dog who plays Eccles on Coronation Street and she's just given birth to seven puppies.

A show spokesman said: “It was her second litter. We’ve started using her young niece Mavis for filming instead.” Aah, cute.
