According to today's Sun, Natasha Blakeman the hairdresser will be killed off in a suicide plot.
The paper says that scriptwriters have not yet decided on how Natasha will take her life. The scenes are set to be screened in the autumn. Apparantly, we'll see a nastier side to Natasha before she decides to end it all.
When Nick shows he still has feelings for ex-wife Leanne Battersby, (Jane Danson) - after she helps him find new factory premises - Natasha delights in telling him about Leanne's past in the sex trade. And she launches a campaign to convince Audrey that at 70 she's too old to run the salon. But she will also find a brief happiness after the couple set up home together.

Could the new factory premises be the Wine Bar that never was...? Can take or leave Natasha, but I think there are worse characters that could be axed.
Dont like the sound of a young girl killing herself, too depressing.
brief happiness after they set up home together, but before he starts sniffing around Leanne again. Nick is an idiot but Natasha is insecure and probably railroads Nick into moving in with her. Or he's using her for the convenience. I'm not really looking forward to suicide either. I know it happens but it does seem out of character for her unless it turns out she's only trying to get his attention but he goes out of town or something, suddenly, and doesn't find her as she expects. Or it's accidental. (i.e. painkillers and alcohol or something)
Oh dear. I really like Natasha i hope they aren't going to ruin her character.
Natasha is kind of a peripheral character, but I still think she deserves better.
What other suicides have there been on the Street? There's a depressing blog post for ya. :)
I think a suicide storyline is a bit daft really and a waste of a really good character too.
It just seems so wrong to me. The character is basically good at heart, and if the article is to be believed she will become bad, simply to make her suicide palatable to viewers. Pity.
I'm not sure about this. I can see why she might have a bitchier side, but I don't buy that this care-free, bubbly character would be depressed enough to kill herself. I hope that TBTB aren't considering getting Leanne and Nick back together, because I think Peter and Leanne are great.
What on earth are they doing with Natasha? This sounds pretty horrible, and not in a good way. Depends how well it's handled though I suppose.
Tina wants to die because she's lost her dad and she's estranged from her mom.
Another suicide or suicide-related storyline on the Cobbles just sounds too much and it's too uncreative. If we're going to say good bye to a character that was never properly utilized, send her off some other way: decides to do hair and make-up with the BBC TV or a touring stage show and decides she's had enough of the feckless men on the Cobbles i.e. they're "rubbish" ...
how sad to send her off this way-and to turn on audrey?
its not really in her chracter to do that is it
weve got tina wanting to die and now theyre actually going to do it to natasha-how depressing
