CARLA RETURNS TO CHAOS Peter and Carla arrive back from their sailing holiday and quiz Johnny about the robbery and his old mate Scott.  Johnny masks his discomfort. The factory girls gossip about Adam’s designs on Alina. Sarah catches Adam chatting up Alina outside the factory and launches a tirade of abuse at him. As Carla approaches with a new client, they find Sarah screeching like a fishwife.

PAUL BACKS DOWN As a hungover Paul searches the jobs pages, Billy implores him not to let Todd get to him. Having taken a call from the bishop, a relieved Billy tells Paul that despite his drunken antics, the archdeacon job is still his.  Paul’s pleased for him and asserts that he’s going back to work and is determined not to let Todd get under his skin
