Out and about in town yesterday I noticed covers of soap magazines heralding the return of Kirsty Soames to Coronation Street.
We know that Tyrone receives news of Kirsty's release from prison next week. And there have been tabloid spoilers suggesting that Tyrone then receives text messages signed off with the letter K. Could it be Kirsty, or is someone playing a trick of Tyrone?
Anyway, all this talk of Kirsty, whether she returns to Corrie or not - although it appears not as actress Natalie Gumede makes clear - made me wonder if Kirsty could be in the frame for the murder of Tina McIntyre this summer. She's certainly got the motive after her hate campaign towards her before she got locked up. Just a thought...

Hm Tyrone doesnt really have an enemy in the world so I dont know who would do this apart from Kirsty herself and was she really a killer? Anger issues yes but that was down to her upbringing, has she come out of prison a killer? Whatever its about time someone shuts Tina up, her constant stalking of Peter and whining is more than annoying now - ITS MY TURN - what a spoilt immature brat she is, like Stella I dont think a lot of viewers will be sorry to see her go.
If Kirsty was going to kill anyone, it'd be Fiz but then I think she might be pipped at the post to that one by Roy, finally driven to murderous distraction by that whiney baby voice she does, bludgeoning her with a scale model of the Pullman Brighton Belle 1934
It's Maria in the middle of her breakdown. She hasn't forgiven Fiz for not telling her about Marcus and Todd. Only thing I don't understand yet is the business of the number showing on Tyrone's mobile. Perhaps Maria has two phones and Fiz calls the number while Maria's working in the salon. The game's up when Audrey eventually answers it.
Well we wouldn't expect Tony Gordon, Karl Munro, Anne Foster to become killers, this is Corrie land after all.
If the actress isn't returning I doubt it would be Kirsty, they would need a big reveal, it wouldn't work if it was mentioned Kirsty got arrested off-screen. And I am sure if she wanted to kill anyone, it would be Fiz.
Perhaps it's Tina who's sending the texts as revenge for Tyrone not supporting her wanting to keep Jake and telling her she was no better with her keep away games as Kirsty was keeping him from Ruby and Tyrone accidently kills her when he finds out?Tina did endanger the life of his unborn child when she pushed Kirsty in the pb and maybe Tyrone hasn't forgotten that either.
Funny that!
Maybe Kirsty intends to kill Fiz but by mistake it is Tina instead...Peter leaves Weatherfield abruptly and therefore is the prime suspect. Can't be him if they are leaving the door open for his return. Kirsty would be the perfect perpetrator...perhaps only being seen momentarily or not at all..could all be done off camera. Tyrone would have the texts and there could be off camera witnesses.
I think people are overthinking this. Peter is leaving but might be coming back so I reckon it's him, but he'll go down for either manslaughter (self defence?) or he'll get drunk and get behind the wheel, run her over or perhaps she's a passenger. That's not much of a jail sentence after all - "death by dangerous driving" or whatever.
Oh, I like that - instead of riding off in a Taxi, Tina can be crushed under Peter's wheels!
I also think Peter will..it's so obvious, or could Roy and Eccles do it?..maybe Roy and Eccles could plan a mass robbery on the Rovers, but Tina finds out and Roy could kill her, then Eccles can drag Tina's body and hang her on a tree as a Halloween decoration - Lol
It will be Peter what does it - TPTB have made him look increasingly like Gargamel recently - once seen cannot be unseen
