There's a new character who arrives on Coronation Street next week. It's Steph Britton's brother, Luke.
Luke turns up to help his sister Steph move into Tina's flat with her. In true soap style, Inside Soap magazine reveals today that Luke wastes no time in flirting with Tina.
In Corrie spoilers revealed some time ago, it was suggested that
Luke will start working as a mechanic in Kevin Webster's garage.
Luke was billed by the Daily Star Sunday as "a replacement for Tommy Duckworth",
after actor Chris Fountain was axed for
posting inappropriate videos online.
Steph is reported to be very protective of her brother.
Luke will be played by actor Dean Fagan. Dean Fagan's IMBD profile is here.

I wonder if adding more people is just going to mean that weeks, maybe months, will go by before we see the regulars and we don't see that much of them now.
Yes..be careful what you say or do on the set unless you're one of the untouchables.
Speaking of untouchables, Tina is obviously not. So this new guy will waste no time to put the makes on Tina? Better pay a visit to an STD clinic, bud.
Anon 21.58, you said what I was thinking! Tina certainly is the town bike!
Always glad to see new blood and played by an unknown instead of the usual soap actor merry go round.
Agreed. I am quite excited, I think Tyrone needs a new friend for some banter in the garage instead of standing around gormless with the whining Fiz.
Looking forward to some new blood on the street just hope he is a bit brighter than Stephanie. I agree that Tyrone needs some fun in his life considering he lives with the increasingly annoying Fizz!
Yawn.
We've got enough characters already many of whom are absent for long periods at a time.
Also, Steph (who I'm not a fan of) has only just been introduced and already they're now bringing in family members.
They should concentrate on writing for the characters they've got instead of bringing in bland, uninteresting 20 something characters who'd be more at home in Hollyoaks.
