Coronation Street guided walk, December 11

Tickets are still on sale for Coronation Street guided walks on Saturday 11 December.

"Celebrate the Golden Anniversary of Britain's longest-running soap, its characters, cast and locations."
Sat 11 December 11:00 & 14:00
Start: Town Hall steps, Albert Square, Manchester,
Pre-booking essential - email tourguidemanchester@gmx.com

Each walk will last approximately 1.5 hours and take in some of the Manchester city centre locations used in The Street, e.g. the hotel where Kevin and Molly stayed, and the canal where Tony pushed Roy in. We'll also see where some of the actors have lived (and still do) and stayed whilst filming. Unfortunately, we can't get onto The Street itself, but we will visit the entrance to the outdoor set, where you can catch a glimpse of part of it. All this will be inter-spaced with entertaining tales and trivia about Corrie and the cast who have been in it over the past 50 years.

Cost: £6 for adults, £5 for concessions. More details at: http://www.visitmanchester.com/#/articles/coronation-street.aspx
