This week's "Inside Soap" confirms the return of Tracy Barlow in time for a truly toxic Christmas. As if Weatherfield didn't have enough to cope with, Ms Barlow will apparently be doing her very best to wreck the McDonald family Christmas. Do we expect any less? More importantly for us fans of all things "Corrie", are we all that excited about Tracy's return? This blogger would sooner have seen her back with a different attitude. What do you think?
There's a lovely picture in "Inside Soap" though of Becky dressed as an angel! Well, it beats the usual 'fags 'n' cider' combo!

Is Kate Ford the best actress? No. But if Tracie manages to get the better of Becky, then I can't wait for her to return. Compared to Becky, Tracy is a positive charmer!
Tracy has no friends.
Tracy is estranged from her child.
Tracy has no job or marketable skills.
Tracy's only supporter died.
Tracy wiped out her parents' savings.
Tracy is a sociopath.
Tracy has no socially redeeming value.
Tracy will likely kick Eccles.
Tracy should be incarcerated for another 15 years; her release defies reality and logic, as did her bunking with Gail (and some people thought the appearance of Angel Vera stretched the truth!)
Gee, I guess I'm not looking forward to her return.
Talking of Vera (momentarily going off thread) - I found Anna's performance much, much, more poignant than the way Jack's death was handled. It felt manufactured and corny beyond belief. It left me totally unmoved. But then, that's just me.
Anna's reactions when sat with the Captain and later with the Croppers were very, very, affecting - Les too.
Okay, highjack over. Do not adjust your set. We now return control of the thread back to Tracy.
No, you're right Danny-K. I found Anna's reactions very emotional & it's only going to get worse. Who's Les though ;)
Les? Les? Who said Les?
- Eddie! Eddie!! EDDIE!!!
Doh! My brain has a mind of its own!
Oh please say you are kidding and playing a nasty prank on all of us Tracy loathing fans? I know that we aren't really meant to 'like' Tracy, but I really, truly, absolutely, definitely, positively, don't like her! She ruins my dearly loved street.
Haven't all the Tracy stories already been done? Won't her coming back and fighting Steve for Amy be like a de ja vue? Smarming her way back into Deidre's good books and not fooling but exasperating Ken be much of what we've seen before? Bullying the rest of the residents be old hat?
I can’t help but think that Tracy and her sensationalized stories and smarmy ways would fit far better in, should I dear say it, Eastenders!
And anyway, wasn't she given a life sentence - you really can't trust the British legal system anymore can you!
