Nigel Havers, who played Audrey's charming, caddish, lover, Lewis Archer on Coronation Street, has been confirmed as one of the contestants in ITV's I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here.
He'll be out in time for Christmas though, as he's starring in Dick Whittington at Birmingham Hippodrome this festive season.

I hope there are tickets left for the panto: I've heard that Nigel's Dick is extremely impressive ;-)
Oh dear, offers must have dried up a bit after Corrie.
Why do people always assume actors only take pantos because they can't get anything else? Apart from the fact that it's enormous fun to do, an actor in a similar position to Nigel Havers, having just had his profile raised by his stint on Corrie, can command a huge fee headlining a panto. He'd be mad not to.
