We open with Carla and Adam getting dressed having spent most of the night in a hotel bed. She refers to it as a big mistake but come on no-one made either of them do it - and Adam admits he has always found her "fit". They return to the factory - neither of them can afford for these events to become public, with Carla blaming Adam (above) - whilst elsewhere Johnny finds Peter drunk and asleep in a booth at the Rovers.
At apparently about 5 am Daniel pushing a baby buggy along the Street encounters Sarah who cannot sleep in the middle of a darkened street. Apparently she cannot sleep and is going into Underworld to do some catching up. Daniel departs and sees Johnny taking Peter to hospital. Sarah then finds Carla already in Underworld and hearing noises off realises that Carla is with a "man" - but is not aware that it is her very own love rat hiding behind the shelves! She later promises that she will keep the secret.
Carla is responding to urgent messages from Johnny concerning Peter who is in hospital as a result of his alcohol consumption. A later scene in hospital is odd as no-one actually seems to know if Peter has suffered as a result of his alcohol consumption, although I am sure we were previously told he would die if he consumed alcohol. Peter apologises for his behaviour and tells her she would be better off without him. Apparently Peter remains one drink away from a massive internal bleed and is discharged.
Paul and Billy argue about nothing which is par for the course. Paul departs angry and Billy is resigned to his partner being awkward. Todd finds Paul on Maxime's bench and Todd tells him that he does not want Paul and Billy falling out because of him egging Paul on. Somewhat later Todd does find Billy and tells Billy a completely different story - obviously trying to wheedle his way between the vicar and Paul. And above both parties are in apologetic mood as both can see the other's viewpoint. Looks like the (almost but not quite) Todd has failed in his attempt to prise them apart.
Above is Summer, yes I know you don't recognise her but Paul is calling her Summer - so she must be! And that look on her face is Summer catching sight of (almost but not quite) Todd. How she manages to recognise him is unclear - but she is somewhat surprised to see him back on the Street as no-one had considered they could tell her over the phone. Not even now video calls are commonplace! Indeed if they had sent her a picture she might well have recognised him! Anyway after a period of being stroppy she actually sits down and with Paul's encouragement talks to Todd and she understands and all appears well. So now she has three daddies!
Elsewhere in the hospital R'Toyota, using her best counselling tone of voice, finally gets around to discussing Steve's actions of hiring a solicitor with Leanne and the latter asserts she will never forgive him for giving up on her and more particularly on Oliver. Toyah leaves Leanne to think about it. For physical distancing reasons Tracey and Emma are inside Number One discussing putting together a memory box to help Amy and Steve, but it is unlikely to help Leanne. Emma sees Steve in the hospital and talks about a memory box - but of course they did hand prints for Ruari. Steve tells Emma to go ahead. In Speed Dahl above, Emma, Tracey and Amy discuss the contents and getting some proper photos printed.
Carla and Peter return to the Rovers where they talk and are almost reconciled and she goes out of the room to the loo leaving her bag behind. Her phone rings and it is the hotel saying that a man's wallet was left behind but refuse to give a name. We know it is Adam's and Carla almost immediately admits that she spent the night with a random man after Peter promises her then can get through anything. The atmosphere is decidedly strained as she claims it was just meaningless sex. Peter stomps off being found later by two of Carla's conquests - Daniel and Adam - in Victoria Gardens, nursing a full unopened bottle of whisky. Daniel talks him down and takes the bottle and Peter returns to the Rovers but something is nagging away at Peter. Whilst Carla pops out to have an argument with Adam - and finds out that he wants Sarah back after all - Peter (above) phones the hotel and finds the wallet had been reclaimed. Which means if 2+2=4 that Carla has obviously been able to alert the no-name man and tell him to collect it - so was it really meaningless sex? All it will take is for Peter to be in the corner shop when Adam pops in to pay for the Sugar Puffs he had earlier when he could not find his wallet!

A curious mixture. No surprise that Summer would forgive Todd, he can always twist people around his fingers. Quite what he is hoping to achieve with Billy and Paul is unclear. And sadly we are back in the Weatherfield whirligig as Nick falls out with Leanne and Peter falls out with Carla whilst Adam falls out with Sarah but now wants to get back with her. Any moment now Gary will have a row with Maria and ...
Ms Kelstar will be here next week.

How old is Summer? Looks about 22 but is supposed to be 16. What's it like being back? Billy the silliest vicar. Like I've never been away, says Summer! We are entering the Twilight Zone, where Summer has been forward through a Time-Warp.
