I guess we've all seen this coming for a long time, but it's great to hear they finally get together. Poor Leanne, though! The paper says that Peter even vows to Carla that he'll leave Leanne for her.

Well I don't think it's great, only that hopefully Peter and Leanne will split up for good.
I like Leanne these days, and I can't see Carla adoring that little scamp Simon like his dad and Leanne do. Carla can be 'nice' to kiddies, but she has to work at it.
Carla and Peter, two sides of the same coin, but for Simon.
I think they should do a repeat, Carla is about to tell Leanne and finds out Leanne is pregnant. You just watch! Game over.
Would much rather Leanne and Peter stay together.
There's never really been any doubt about Peter and Carla having a fling. The question is will it last? Peter is weak and immature and avoids grown-up responsibilities,resulting in: alcoholism; bigamy; blaming his father etc. But this may be his ephiphany.
One can guess the dialogue:
Peter: Carla needs me.
Leanne: Simon needs you more.
And if Leanne is pregnant, as Tvor says - game over.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz When are the writers going to come up with something unexpected and interesting?

I hate this story and I just hope Carla ends up dropping Peter like a hot brick and treating him like a piece of crap like she does with everyone.
Oh great, have enjoyed the Peter/Leanne/Carla storyline but this is ridiculous. They have built this up for so long and now they are turning it into a quick fumble between the two of them, Peter will never leave Leanne for Carla, Carla will be portrayed at a man eater yet again. Nice one PC.
I'm disappointed. What I've enjoyed about this storyline so far was that it wasn't just another tired, jaded tale of infidelity but was more complex and psychological. If it turns into just another tit-for-tat affair, it'll lose the quality that made it different and interesting.
Plus, I'm beyond tired of Peter always being the bad guy. Even when Leanne cheated on him, he was the bad guy, so if he turns around and does the same to her, he'll never, ever live it down. Can't he be allowed to keep even a scrap of moral high ground for once? Better yet, can't he and Leanne be allowed to be happy for a while?
I, for one, am glad. Leann makes my teeth hurt.

Is there nothing to stop Carla? You would have thought that coming through the awful experience she has that she might have learnt her lesson but no, she is still the same hard faced slut she always was. So traumatised was she by her ordeal that she jumped into bed with a married man. Please god let this storyline finally be the end of this one-dimensional harridan.
I hate this storyline, I wish Carla would drink herself into a coma, and Peter needs a slap across the head!
