When someone goes to prison on Coronation Street, and the actor isn't leaving the show, the Powers that Be have to have something for the inmate to do while behind bars. We know that Fiz is going to be arrested and held on remand until her trial in the autumn and now, apparently, we've had her storyline revealed in the Daily Star.
Fiz is going to be involved with trying to bust up the drugs ring inside the jail. Her cellmate dies of an overdose and she discovers the prisoner that's bringing in the drugs, a woman who's housed in the mother and baby unit. She wants to tell but Becky, who visits her, warns her against it. What will our little heroine do? Will she tell? Would she risk the life of the dealer whose boyfriend would punish her for being caught? Would she risk her own life if she tells? We'll find out soon enough.

Of corse she will tell, no doubt thats how she will get out of prison.
Oh..this storyline makes so much more sense than the one we just sat through for what??..2 years or more with that idiotic boring John Stape. And when did Becky become friends with Fiz..going to the prison to give her advice. All of a sudden Fiz, who has been a dishrag for months suddenly grows a pair and is going to infiltrate a prison gang in order to get justice for a woman she just met? Puleeze..how embarassing will this be to watch?
Sounds gritty.
More unrealistic rubbish. How many pathetic and contrived storylines featuring Fiz's character must the scriptwriters make us suffer?
i know they hav e to keep her on screen but these stupid storylines in prison are getting on my nerves
its obvious she'll get off she couldnt have killed charlotte anyway as she was giving birth and theres no evidence she killed colin or joy
just dont bother with her going to jail and do something else

For some reason I actually enjoy the thought of this storyline. So much more interesting than any of the other snoozelines that have been and are currently going on. I think that actually says a lot about how dull the storylines in general have been... Perhaps the high point of this one is that John Stape will come back and the evil drug baron boyfriend will kill him!
I think it will be good too.
I think it could be an interesting story for Fiz. In fact, a lot of the storylines that I thought would be terrible, turned out to be pretty good onscreen.
How Incredibly stupid, just let Fiz go Free for once.
