Stella - please get her off ASAP. Dialect was almost as bad as her acting. Corrie, this will not work
8 words from Frosty SICK AND TIRED OF BECKY, CHANGE THE SCRIPT!
Leave Stella alone Anonymous and don't be so daft! Of course it will work!
I reckon they've made Stella's boyfriend (played by the Taggart guy) a bit like Les Battersby to make the whole storyline seem a bit more plausible.
By 'like Les Battersby' I mean the love of rock music, rough round the edges (very similar to the Vernon character). Stella is clearly definitely going to be Leanne's mum based on the deliberate pause when she was mentioned in Friday's 2nd ep
Let's get back to true Corrie storylines and where's the innocent comedy gone.
Let's get Norris back to his best and what's happened to Aunty Pam Hobsworth? She was classic comedy and what Corrie is all about.
I have a beef with the child actors in this program. Maria's little guy always looks as if he has just come off a crying jag and the one that plays Sean's boy look absolutely terrified. What gives?
To Dilly Daydream,
it will not work and if it does I will talk with a false cockney accent for the next 12 months.
And I'm a Geordie!
