...for her. John Mitchie, who is to join Corrie soon playing Karl the boyfriend of new Rovers landlady Stella, has said that everyone is happy that he has joined Corrie - except for his wife.
It would seem that John's wife is a big Corrie fan and that to her Corrie is a bit of a "fantasy world" and it won't be now that she'll see her husband on the cobbles!
John says: "The show's been a good escape and a release from the hardships of reality - but now she's going to be seeing my ugly mug on screen." I don't know about 'ugly mug' but I can personally see where his wife's coming from.
Corrie has always been a piece of escape for me personally, but what about you? How would you feel about Corrie if your significant other or someone you knew in your day-to-day life suddenly popped onto the cobbles? Would it ruin it for you?
