You say Goodbye, Jack, I say Hello
As we say our final farewells to Jack Duckworth, let's have a look back at Jack's arrival on Coronation Street. Here's an old studio publicity photo from 1979 when Jack Duckworth arrived on the Street. His first scenes were at the wedding of Gail and Brian Tilsley. You can still see the "Jack the Lad" in him that Vera Burton fell in love with at a carnival, can't you?

Fare thee well Jack. You will be missed. Here in Canada tonight, it was the anniversary of Vera's death.. how eerie is that?
I watched a 3 minute clip of Jack's farewell tonight on YouTube. It's lovely! I'm so sad we Canadians have to wait so long for what we know is coming. At least we can appreciate every scene he's in from now until then...
Oh, definitely Tvor and he never lost it either.
