Corrie stars switch on Manchester
Manchester's Christmas lights are going up and on this weekend with a big party and there will be a handful of Corrie actors to help do the honours. if you're in the area on Friday evening, the events start at 6:45. Not only will Jimmi Harkishin, Shobna Gulati, Debbie Rush, Sam Aston, Craig Gazey and Holly Quin Ankrah be there, but the cast of We Will Rock You will perform on stage as well. The city centre has a giant Santa on Town Hall (seen here, my photo from a visit a few years back) and the lights are all eco friendly. They have a Christmas market set up in the centre by Town Hall as well. It'll be a good night out with lots of lovely lights!
