Google takes a trip down Coronation Street

Coronation Street will become the first ever TV soap to feature on Google Street View. To celebrate the re-launch of the show’s website, producers have thrown open doors for the Google Street View car. Today the Street View car drove down the cobbles to take the images. These will now be processed, a technological process that can take several months and be made available at a later date in Street View on Google Maps.
