Yes or No: Aunty Pam and Bill?

Is it a match made in Coronation Street heaven or a mistake? What do you think about Aunty Pam getting together with Bill Webster? I think they're more suited than Bill and Audrey ever were and I think there's comic potential for this Corrie coupling. But never mind me, what say you, Corrie fans?

Yeah, I'm happy with that.

Yes! Bill's quite cute when smitten. Pam needs a good 'ole boy.

Oh i don't know. He's definitely not suited to Audrey but i'm not sure he's suited to Pam either. I think she likes a man with a bit of an edge to him and Bill is more like a comfortable pair of slippers.

Well ... it would certainly have a good comedy element. I just wonder if Pam is a bit too much for Bill to handle. She is a fabulous character and very funny indeed and I am certain will be around for a very long time in the Street.

let's see how it goes, but it would be great to have a new family in the street which was more fitting to Coronation Street, rather than recent far fetching ones.

What would make it more interesting is that Pam is basically a maternal figure to Molly and Bill is Kevin's dad. maybe they can knock some sense into them and stop this crazy relationship - come on writers, do the right thing. Pam to the rescue.

I like the idea of Bill moving back to Germany with Pam to do well paid contract work. Pam could make a fortune flogging slightly out of date processed Bavarian cold meat to the locals, and wouldn't trouble The Street ever again ...

Oh well, I can but dream ...

I think Pam is fantastic and this potential pairing has scope. Anything that lets us see more of Pam is a good thing in my book.
