Sam Aston on playing Chesney Battersby-Brown

Now then, here's someone who doesn't often give an interview. It's 16 year old Sam Aston, who plays Coronation Street's Chesney Battersby-Brown, speaking to The Mirror. It's a nice interview and he reveals that he doesn't really get any crazy fan mail. He says: "Because people seem to love Chesney, they feel protective of him, so I get letters from all ages, from children to old ladies. Sadly, there’s nothing rude – on Valentine’s Day I got one card. Ryan Thomas gets about five million and I get one, great." Ah, bless.

Anyway, it looks like Chesney's going off the rails soon in Corrie. Have a look here.

No surprise Chesney goes off the rails a bit. You could see that coming a mile. I don't think he'll turn into another David Platt, though.
