If you've been watching soaps as long as I have, you'll know that there are a number of standard plots that they use over and over, such as love triangles. Another standard plot is "who's the daddy?" and we're about to have one, or my name isn't The Voice of Reason. You can see it coming a mile off!Michelle has two fellas after her though she fancies one more than the other. It doesn't stop her from spending the night doing *nudge nudge* with each of them, a day or so between. What do *you* think is going to happen? Any time someone has an ill-advised one night stand or sleeps with two men within a very close window of opportunity, the end result is nearly always the same. Michelle is off to be a rock star for a six month tour. She'll be back early, sporting a jaunty bump, mark my words. Purely speculation but I'm going out on a limb and predicting this one. What say you all? Yay or nay?

I reckon you could be right. Down her in NZ, we have only just had the whole switched at birth story line, which has actually been rather irritating, so if your predictions are anything to go by looks as though Michelle will be going through more mental trauma!

If it happens, the baby will probably be Peter's.
That'll give him an excuse to get on/off the drink again.
That's another well-used storyline/plot!
If it's Peter's, then when Leanne comes back, that will cause a lot of angst. If it's Luke's, well she fancies Peter more. She may lie and say it is Peter's to break up him and Leanne. Another standard plot device. I think Peter and Leanne are the better suited couple really.
You're dead good at this and as you were right about Eileen and Julie being sisters long before the spoilers came out, I think you'll be right about this one too.

All soaps run a births-deaths & marriage plotline constantly, without end. So let's see, Becky 'n Steve's wedding (or non-wedding), followed by the death of Eileen's dad, so that leaves.... yep, I think you're right, one of the characters is odds-on to get pregnant next. Has to be, but which one in paticular?
A birth it is then.

The plot makes sense but wouldn't that be kind of insensitive towards the actress since she just lost a baby?

If that's the plan, i'm sure the producers would have cleared it with her first. Actors have to find a way to play a lot of roles and storylines that reflect on personal pain and tragedies in their lives all the time.

Good idea but I hope not. I'm hoping when "SHE" returns Peter will be with Leanne and Luke will be with Carla. Then if "SHE" makes a play for one then the other both the "GORGEOUS ONES" can say sorry love I'm with Leanne/Carla,
It would be good if "SHE" was preggy and then rejected by both Peter and Luke. We would have a great storyline with both Carla and Leanne being involved also, a result of which "SHE" will be put through the wringer well and truly and be left in a mess and in bits just like she has done to the "GORGEOUS ONES"
I agree with a comment above just let Michelle stay on a permanent Tour. Maybe the baby will be JD's!
