News just in from the cobbles to the blog(*) is that Simon and Peter Barlow will both be trapped by a raging fire in the Coronation Street bookies flat after Peter sets the place alight after a heaving booze-up. I'm told that as Peter and Simon sleep, the flames will rip through the flat and by the time the fire takes hold, it seems increasingly unlikely that they'll both be rescued in time.
Oh 'eck. Not little Simon, no!!

You know when Corrie's writers have had an imagination block, 'cos, hey presto, here comes yet another fire! If all else fails, let's have another fire....How many more fires are the viewers expected to put up with?....Come on Corrie, this just ain't good enough!
Looks to me like the little rabbit might die... !!
Not to sound mean but I love to see that little Simon on the screen, so if the rabbit goes up in smoke... that's ok...
They won't kill off the little lad, and i can't see the point of killing off Peter yet, he's still got a lot of story left not to mention unfinished business with Leanne and apparently a fling with Michelle.
No, I can't see them killing him off either but putting him in peril sounds good as he's a huge hit with the fans and they'll want him to live of course.
that was so good for simon 2 save his daddy what a gd little boy from chelsea age 11
