There's good news for fans who'd like to walk the cobbles on the Coronation Street Tour.
ITV have shared this update with the blog today.
"We have been using the tour closure to develop our attraction, and we are delighted to share the news with you that building work has now started to bring an exciting new addition to our tours for when we do re-open. There’ll be a new entrance onsite right here at ITV, a themed cafe and even bigger gift shop, along with a whole host of enhanced guest experiences before our tours even start.
We hope to relaunch ticketing later in the year, with tours returning spring 2022. To be the first to hear, please add your email address to the 'REGISTER YOUR INTEREST' form at the website. All ticket and gift ticket holders have been contacted, with tickets now automatically being extended through 2022.
Many thanks for your patience and understanding in keeping our cast and crew safe, and helping to keep our show on the air."

Maybe this will prompt them to redecorate Roy’s cafe which which is a right mucky hole.
