Coronation Street Episode Monday 24th August

After three years of no-one giving a flip about Todd, now everyone's like: Where's Todd? I'm worried about Todd! I can't stop thinking about Todd! We have got to find Todd! No-one seemed to care when he disappeared to live in the woods. Maybe it's time to solve a few old other cold cases: Mad Maya has been on remand since 2004 and we never found out if she was sent to the big house. Claire Peacock went on the run to France nine years ago after assaulting Tracy Barlow (I guess statute of limitations on that one). Anyway, Slimfast Craig checks Todd's file and tells Sean and Billy that young Master Grimshaw was picked up some time ago by the police and released, so he could've come home at any time.

It's Gemini and Apollo's birthday and Chesney has got Gemma a toaster for her birthday. I guess Chesney's finally found the woman who's not put off by his dull-as-ditch-water ways - Gemma likes being part of a "normal" family and a toaster for her 30th is part of that. It's not even a a Breville!
As part of her birthday brekkie, Bernie reveals that she ate her post-partum placenta (although she would've preferred a full breakfast). Erm, yum? Paul comes round to number 5 and Bernie offers to go for a walk with him to distract him from the surprise party (and so she doesn't have to do the food, although to be honest some crisps in bowls doesn't look like it took that much effort from the props people Summer).

Meanwhile, Abi didn't return the morphine after all and has a big swig from it, just as Peter pops 'round. Carla reminds us that Abi and Peter used to be a thing, so I wonder if Peter will offer to be Abi's sponsor and then her boy-toy man-toy; I mean that's what happened when he started mentoring Carla. Anyway, he re-steals the morphine and instead of returning it the Kate Oates Memorial Hospital, he chucks it down the drain of the Rover's beer "garden".

Daniel is still trying to get Blonde Katie Harrison to wear Sinead's cardigan for him again. She says she's with a client (if she has a full schedule, then why was she wasting all that time chatting him up at the law event?) and says he should contact her friend Cherry, whom Danny-boy duly phones.

And finally, Johnny is back! And now he has to quarantine for 14 days.
