AIDAN'S FUNERAL Awash with guilt after his kiss with Liz, Johnny apologises to Jenny and assures her she's welcome at the funeral. But when Alya insists that as Aidan's friend and business partner she should be there, Carla sends her packing. At the funeral Johnny delivers an emotional eulogy. But when he says Aidan would have made a great dad, it's too much for Eva who rushes from the church.
EILEEN'S GIVEN A FOND FAREWELL Eileen tells Seb he'll have to find somewhere else to live as she's renting the house out and moving to Bristol. Steve and Tim throw a leaving party in the cab office.
ALYA'S GOT THE KEYS TO THE KINGDOM With the Connors out of the way, Alya pays Gary to change the locks at the factory explaining that Aidan left it to her in his will.
PETER DOESN'T SEE THE FULL PICTURE Simon's puzzled when he finds a hospital photo of Susie in Eva's bag and hands it to Peter.
ELSEWHERE After a night out Kim has stayed at Fiz's. When Sean appears for breakfast Kim is instantly smitten and invites Sean for dinner. Tyrone arrives for work and is surprised to find Abi already there. Liz in confides in Moira about Johnny's kiss.
Wednesday 13th June
JOHNNY TURNS TO LIZ IN HIS MOMENT OF NEED Johnny stares at Aidan's coffin in the ground and insists he wants to be alone. Jenny heads off to the wake, hurt. Johnny returns to the street emotionally drained and admits to Liz he can't bear to be in the same room as Jenny. Liz invites him back to her flat where Johnny confesses his feelings for Liz.
PETER QUESTIONS EVA Peter confronts Eva with the hospital baby photo. Is he onto the truth? When Peter muses that Eva never leaves Susie alone, Toyah's worried.
ALYA DIGS HER HEELS IN Carla's furious to discover the locks to the factory have been changed. Carla, Jenny and Kate confront Alya and demand to know what she's playing at. Alya claims she's only taking what's rightfully hers. Carla offers Alya 18% of the factory, explaining it was Aidan's share before she gifted him the rest of the business. Will Alya accept this?
EILEEN BIDS FAREWELL Sensing that Seb hasn't anywhere to live, Eileen tells him he can stay at No.11 until she finds a tenant. But as soon as Eileen and Nicola have gone Abi invites herself to stay.
ELSEWHERE Michelle returns home to find Ali there by himself. Ali admits that he couldn’t face the funeral as he felt like an interloper. Michelle hugs him and assures him he means everything to her.

Why wouldn't Billy be conducting the funeral? Is he no longer a Vicar?
I think maybe the Connors, with their Irish background, are meant to be Catholic. Not that there's been any reference to it, or to them holding any religious views 😀.
