I know it's a soap but this is too much. List of bad'uns follows: Becky, Costello, Megan, Theo, Carl, Ben's mother (humorous). Other characters are either victims or by-standers. Almost literally, over-kill. On the plus side, Christina - now called Chrissie to show she's had a personality transplant - is a great double-act with George. The writers must have had a re-think. All they have to do now is persuade viewers that the phone call to an unknown accomplice was actually nothing more than a chat to a harmless friend.
Oh I'd forgotten about that phone call.
I still don't trust Chrissy!
I've read that billy and Dee dee's final scenes have been filmed. I'll miss Dee Dee but I think they'd run out of ideas on what to do with billy.
And then there's Abi - the walking hair - have you noticed, it never moves, she moves under it.
Ah yes Abi, the car mechanic with a perfect manicure.
I did like the way Christina supported Todd and gave George good advice. They are definitely trying to soften her up, so will be rewriting history regarding her original intentions.
As for Ben's mother, a recent preview mentioned a secret connection to the Barlows. Ken's daughter and Adam's mother died in a car crash. I bet Maggie was involved. Huge coincidence!
Susan Barlow was killed by Billy, don't you remember?
Peter and Susan were packed off to Scotland in the sixties so I don't see what Maggie has to do with that, being in Ireland.
Adam is Susan Barlow and Mike Baldwin's son (I think!) I can't remember how many kids Ken has but I know his IRL son and grandson played his estranged son and grandson many years ago.
I seem to remember Billy was identified as the driver. A strange twist, but it was covered a few years ago.

Yes, Adam is the son of Mike Baldwin and Susan Barlow who were married briefly. Susan kept Adam a secret from Ken. I think Peter had to tell him when Susan died.
But there is some deep dark secret. Maggie looked shocked at something she saw in the Barlows' sideboard while looking for the punchbowl at Halloween. I am thinking of all the places Maggie, Ben and sons have lived but I can't see a connection. We still have no explanation for Ollie's Manchester accent. Or is it meant to be Hull? How long were they there, and what's the story with the boys' mother(s)?
