From ITV's Twitter feed comes this tidbit. You may recognize actor Jeffrey Holland. He'll be turning up on Corrie screens soon as Clive, an Inland Revenue employee who will be descending on Streetcars for a surprise audit. We're not surprised considering how fast and loose Steve played with Streetcars cash during the Max-purchase storyline!
Jeffrey Holland's IMDB cv and he's got a website. You might know him from sitcoms like Hi-Di-Ho, Dad's Army or You Rang, M'Lord. He's also done theatre and panto.

If Su Pollard ever turns up, I'm switching off forever . . .
Sell Streetcars, sell Lloyds flat, do something new. Steve can pay Becky off with whatever he can get out of the business. Fat Brenda can take on a night shift or two at the international customer service call centre they'll turn it all into.
Excellent - a (possibly) comic storyline which doesn't involve murderers, rapists, explosions, fires or "social issues". About time.
Is this the story line that leads to Lloyd taking some time off the street?
Maybe that and Cheryl and Russ leaving, seem like good reasons to leave.
I would say it's likely yes, this will lead to a leave of absence for Lloyd.
Why not introduce the single lovelorn mother's boy tax man to Mary? Time Norris had some competition for her affection- and this is surely a match made in sitcom fantasy
