Kym Marsh has been busy during her maternity leave. She's penned an autobiography that is being released on June 23 and it's called From the Heart. There are a few exerpts from it in today's Daily Mail where you can read about the ordeal she went through last year with the stillbirth of her son, Archie.
The book is about more than just that. She also describes her childhood growing up in Wigan, her experiences being bullied in school and an eating disorder that she struggled with.
It's interesting that the medical procedure they had to do is one that a friend of mine also had. While it wasn't successful for her pregnancy with Archie, it was with her pregnancy with her new baby Polly.
Kym will be back on our screens in the fall. Her book will be out next week.

"In the Fall"? Is this an American Corrie Page? :)
Canadian blogger here. I try to use "Britspeak" so you can all understand me but you know, sometimes the native lingo slips in ;))
Surprise, surprise, surprise, there are plenty of American fans on this blog. Color, aluminum, wrenches, doesn't matter, we're all Corrie fans here. Tvor, you just be your wonderful Canadian self, eh. Everybody understands you just fine.
An autobiography....
Staggers the mind.
Not to insult any challenges she's overcome in life, I find it bizarre that Kym Marsh has released an autobiography. Given her age and limited life-experience, what kind of insight does she really have to offer readers? Writing books seems to be a common trend that used to be nothing more than writing in a personal journal or, more recently, a brief trip on the talk-show circuit or blogging. This trend of airing your dirty laundry and misfortunes to the population at large in bound copy seems rather narcisstic, attention-seeking, and money-grubbing.
No, what really boggles my mind is the celebs under the age of 20 that release autobiographies. At least Ms Marsh has a few more years and experiences to write about and I reckon what she's been through with her pregnancies may help other women who have been through the same thing.
I am a Canadian as well but we use Autumn. You know one of the four seasons - Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter???? I hate that the American words and pronunciation are slipping into our country. Their shops and companies as well are Americanizing Canada and it is an atrocity! Wish those Yanks would sod off!
