Corrie's Italian inspiration for Mary's new story

This week's Inside Soap magazine reveals a new storyline for Mary coming up next week.  She attempts to channel the spirit of Italy by treating her neighbours to an operatic performance from her top floor window.

After seeing footage of Italian singers performing on their balconies, Mary decides she should recreate the magic. Her bombastic rendition of Grazie Roma from the upstairs window of No.11 wins the attention of her stunned neighbours.

That is until sourpuss Sean yells at her to pack it in. Miserable so and so.

And here's how Grazie Roma should sound.

Eeuw! Tritest Italian opera I've ever heard. More Eurovision than 'Pagliacci'.
