In the street Sally tells Alya about Geoff’s threatening behaviour and in return Alya tells her about Geoff suspiciously trying to get a prison visit. As they talk, the hideous waste or organs himself is watching them from behind his net curtains, which I suspect are far less white now that he hasn’t got his domestic slave scrubbing them twice-weekly in a bucket of bleach.
Over in the café Adam gets a call from Laura whom he’s offering ‘free legal advice’ to. He tells her she’s entitled to more money from her dead husband so she immediately marches around to Gary to tell him that Rick’s got 24 hours to put some money in a safety deposit box or she’s going to the police. I’m struggling to remember/care how Gary got himself into this situation in the first place but I’m gonna suggest he just leave the country. The Weatherfield police couldn’t even be bothered to properly search a house where an attempted murder had taken place, there’s no way they’d be arsed to track you down to New Zealand.
Meanwhile over at Victoria Court, Leanne is being marginally less mardy but is still refusing any offer of help. She finally apologises to Toyah but won’t attend the support group her sister suggests for her. Thinking quickly, Toyah arranges for the woman who runs the group to come to the flat instead and Leanne manages to not scowl, bite her head off or say something mean…so a bit of progress.
In other news Michael tells Aggie that she’s got what she wanted as he and Grace are not getting back together. Aggie tells him she only wants the best for him and tries to make amends by interrupting him at work and bringing him a kiwi, houmous and salami sandwich. Really? This woman was a chemist. If she can’t put sandwich fillings together, I would really question her ability to prescribe complex drug combinations.
At the garage when there’s a call out for a breakdown Abi makes Kevin go instead of her. While he’s fixing his clutch, the man tells Kev that he and his family are moving to Australia. When he returns, Abi tells him that she recognised the name and the man was her twin’s adoptive dad.
Back at No. 4 Sally and Tim still can’t agree over Geoff. Sally tells him that his dad tried to visit Yasmeen, and Tim’s confused but maintains that he’s on his dad’s side. When he later questions Geoff he talks his way out of it again, claiming that he had a moment of madness and missed Yasmeen.
Still struggling to maintain control and paint himself as the good guy, Geoff then decides to return to work at Speed Daal. There he finds a couple of allies in Tyrone and Fizz who think that his situation is the same as Tyrone’s with Kirsty. Buoyed up by the support he hatches a plan. Overhearing Alya say she’s expecting a call from Yasmeen, Geoff steals her phone. When Yasmeen calls, he creepily tells her ‘I had to talk to you. I miss you and I’ve got a proposition for you.’. I suppose it’s too much to hope that the proposition is you go free while I jump off a high building?
And that’s all for this week. If anyone has worked out who’s feeding the chickens (minus Charlotte Bronte) while Yasmeen’s in prison do let me know in the comments or catch me on twitter @mskelstar.

Although I was expecting it,I am disappointed that Fiz and Tyrone are on Geoff 's side due to Tyrone being abused by Kirsty and Geoff manipulating him for his sympathy going through the 'same abuse'.
Unfortunately Ty's and Fiz's affair undermined his abuse storyline especially when he left little Ruby at the mercy of her mentally ill mother so he could spend Christmas with Fiz and Hope[even then Hope was the favored child]
I wonder how many more characters are going to be ruined with this storyline and wiil Geoff get his comeuppnace?
