It's that time of year again, time for the British Soap Awards and we want everyone out there to sign up and vote for all things Coronation Street! You can also vote by post through ballots in What's On Tv and TV Easy magazine. ITV has a Facebook page where you can join the buzz about the nominations, too.
This is just the first round of voting to select a shortlist of nominees. Voting closes on April 11. Shortlist voting online starts April 18 and will run throught to May 13.
The following categories have Corrie actors/characters that you can choose:
Sexiest Male: Will Thorp (Chris Gray), Keith Duffy (Ciaran McCarthy), Chris Fountain (Tommy Duckworth...? Presumably he'll actually appear on screen before the awards)
Sexiest Female: Helen Flanagan (Rosie Webster), Michelle Keegan (Tina McIntyre), Alison King (Carla Connor)
Villain of the Year: John Stape, Tracy Barlow, Kylie Turner
Best Actor: Simon Gregson, Michael Le Vell, Chris Gascoyne (Tough category to choose here!)
Best Actress: Jane Danson, Sally Dynevor, Katherine Kelly
Best British Soap: Coronation Street, of course!
Full voting terms and conditions are available here.

Best actress:Jane Danson...carried that WHOLE storyline.
Agreed, Jane Danson is great I hope she finally gets some recognition. LOL at Chris Fountain getting a nomination despite not appearing on screen yet! Didn't really want to vote for any of the villains though.
that link only let me vote for sexiest male and then it signed out repeatedly
I didn't have any problems with the link or voting. Perhaps they're experiencing very heavy traffic
Sally Dynevor voted best actress for me
Def. Sally Dynevor for me too.
Chris Gascoyne and Jane Danson for me best actor and actress.
Do we get to vote in other categories - best young performance, funniest performance, dramatic scene?
Same for me Chris G and Jane D, and why on earth is Katherine Kelly even in the running, gurning, shouting and OTT acting like a leg of ham doesnt deserve anything. The sooner this character is written out the better.
Voted for Sally Dynevor for Best Actress... she has been SO under-rated she deserves to win something!
But I did LOVE the Peter/Leanne/Nick storyline so I voted Chris Gascoyne for Best Actor!
