Corrie Weekly Awards for March 8 - 11

True Colours award: Gold Star: David exposed as a liar, again, and Kylie keeping up the family tradition of lashing out.

I didn't need that image Award: Eddie's underpants, described as seeing better days "but beggars can't be choosers" (ugh)

New Image award: Gold Star: Of course Sally didn't get her hair done at Audrey's. It actually looks different!

Are you on the same page award: Gold Star: What was with Xin's smug and gleeful grinning during Tina and Graeme's breakup?
Silver Star: I thought Kevin didn't want to have anything to do wtih Rosie?

Contrite award: Gold Star: Kevin and Sally. Now will you pay attention to Sophie?
Silver Star: Norris renamed the shop back to the Kabin.

Father of the year award: Gold Star: Sunita is worried about Sophie. Kevin says later, or call Sally. Nice. You're right Kevin, it *was* all your fault.

Green eyes award: Jealous Star: I think Kylie wasn't too pleased to hear about David and Tina, especially now she's single so Kylie made sure David was about to be ball and chained.
And Sophie is jealous of Sian's new friend.
Lines of the week:
Sophie "I'm not part of His flock anymore. I'm a lost sheep!" (poor lamb)
Mary "Every man deserves a banger on his birthday"
Kylie to David "Loser!!!!!"
Frank "I wasn't trying to catch you with your knickers down"(like hell you weren't)
Audrey "In the cut throat world of coiffure there are no friends"
Rita "Excuse me while I drag my crumbling carcas up the road. This geriatric needs somewhere to sink her dentures fast!"
Fiz about John "He's depressed not psychotic!" Janice (muttering) "That's a matter of opinion"

Well spotted with the Kevin/Rosie thing - what is it with these damn inconsistencies? Are the writers just not talking to each other anymore?

I think when it comes to the Kevin/Rosie thing it's the same as all father/daughter relationships, no matter what they do they are blood and they love each other.

Plus we saw Kevin comforting her when Alfie/Jeff 'sacked' her so as inconsistent as Corrie has been lately I don't think this is one of those times!

How many families have said in the heat of the moment that they dont want anything to do with another family member any longer? Almost everyone I would think, but its soon forgotton so I dont quite know why a big thing is being made about this.

How rude was Rawsie to the pastor in the hospital? That girl needs such a slap.

Good points guys, I guess you're right :)

Yeah, i'm sure it's just all family dynamics. I personally thought the pastor deserved what he got from Rosie. He was very intolerant that time he talked to Sian and Sophie. Now he gets to see the result of what he put in motion. More or less.

Doesn't appear to be a review of Friday's episodes yet, but I have to just say two things:

1) I don't like the way Kylie keeps slapping David - she's done it several times now and enough is enough.

2) I don't like that little girl being fostered (or whatever) by the Windasses (the one who looks like Matt Lucas in a wig - Faye, is it?). She's a mardy little ingrate, get shot of her!

Agree with daydream. Why is spousal violence ok when it's the man getting the slap...there'd be an uproar if Steve gave Becky a good 'un...time to knock it off.
Also..the Faye thing is not doing it for me..They should get rid of her and keep Eddie..he's hilarious!
