There's a fantastic interview in today's Guardian with Julie Hesmondhalgh, who played Hayley Cropper in Coronation Street. Julie's interview is there to promote the new TV show she's in, called The A Word, but she talks about so much more.
And there's a lot she says about her time in Coronation Street, with David Neilson (Roy Cropper) chipping in too.

Interesting interview. Some characters I soon forget about after they leave (can I name some? Kate, Michelle,Eva) but Hayley left quite a gap. It's great that Julie has done such great roles since leaving though.
