Mikey North, who play Gary Windass in Coronation Street, is taking a two-month break from the show.
In an interview with What's On TV Magazine, Mikey says: “I’ve got about two months off now. I’m going to go away and de-Windass for a bit, and then come back and see what’s next.”

Simon's storyline is getting very boring. I realise he's a teenager but he is such a nasty one. Not all teens are bad.
Not looking forward to the return of Jim McDonald. Such a boring character. Are Corrie producers and writers running out of ideas for new story lines?
